Strategies for Effective Online Class Discussions
This presentation will describe best practices for creating and managing online class discussion forums. The facilitator will also demonstrate techniques for creating discussion forums in Blackboard Learn, using discussion boards for online class debates and grading practices.

Too Little, Too Much: Balancing Online and Face to Face Content for Student Success
This multi-part program focuses on key content decisions in the development of hybrid courses. In this special series, participants will (a) discuss the difference between “online content” and “face to face content” toward developing a shared understanding, (b) explore different ways to provide the same content developed for a face-to-face course for an online course, and (c) judge which components of their own course content would be best delivered online or in person to their students.
