eFellows Luncheon

Mission
The Center for Teaching, Learning, and Extended Studies (CTLES) provides South Carolina State University faculty with support, professional development opportunities and advocacy to enhance teaching and learning. Additionally, CTLES extends the educational outreach of the university to support quality learning experiences for citizens of South Carolina and beyond.

Highlights and Activities

  • The Summer 2017 eFellows Online Teaching Certificate course will be offered May 22, 2017 – June 23, 2017. This course is offered fully online and examines effective strategies for online facilitation.
  • South Carolina State University is an official member of the National Council on State Authorization and Reciprocity Agreement (NC-SARA).
  • Five faculty members participated in the Spring 2017 Leadership in Active Learning Initiative (LALI). Plans are underway to continue the project in the fall.
  • Course development is in progress for the online Bachelor of Arts in Political Science-Public Administration and online Educational Specialist – Superintendent certification programs.
